Ronan Eves
Ronan is a 3nd year medical student at the University of Edinburgh. He loved helping out classmates at school with subjects such as Biology and Sports Science, so started tutoring when he began Sixth Form. He has tutoring experience in all of the sciences and also teaches English to non-native speakers online.
Outside of academia his hobbies include: playing sport (especially football and rugby) and playing his guitar.

Anna O'Ceallachain
Anna is currently in her second year of studying medicine at the University of Edinburgh. Born in Glasgow, Anna was raised bilingual thanks to her Italian mother. Anna has been tutoring for several years, including daily morning literacy lessons for a pupil with dyslexia and lunchtime Chemistry supported study during secondary school, and for the past year she has been tutoring maths in Edinburgh. Outwith medicine Anna loves spending time with her 5 flatmates and painting. Anna is also a passionate violin and piano player. She received teaching at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and currently plays in the Edinburgh University Symphony Orchestra. Katarina Sandall
Katrina is originally from Manchester and is in her first year of studying Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. As her mother is German, she was raised bilingual and has always enjoyed helping friends learn the language. In her spare time she plays medics netball and has joined the Surgical Society as well as volunteering for the Teddy Bear Hospital.

Baran Talajooy
Baran is an enthusiastic second-year medical student at the University of Edinburgh. Having grown up and sat her exams in St Andrews in Scotland, Baran is well acquainted with the Scottish Education System and the SQA and familiar with the newer developments of the system. She is bilingual, speaking Persian and English fluently and she is keen to learn more languages. Baran has always been interested in teaching and is passionate about finding the best ways to share knowledge with each tutee. She is involved in friends of MSF (Doctors without Borders) and ESPA (Edinburgh Sustainable Projects Abroad) and out-with Medicine, she enjoys playing her violin, ukulele, spending time with her friends and travelling.

Rosie Peterson
I am currently in my 4th year of history at the University of Edinburgh. Originally from Wales, I have spent a lot of time teaching having helped with the year 7 reading scheme in school and coached basketball for the last 5 years. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading and baking. I am also a passionate basketball player, currently playing for the Edinburgh Blaze women.
Emily Moffett
Emily Moffett is a third year English Literature Student at the University of Edinburgh. She’s from the United States but is proud to call Edinburgh her home while she studies. She is a valedictorian, an International Baccalaureate diploma holder, and loves tutoring. She is particularly strong in areas such as literature, history, the arts, and Spanish. She is also a ballet dancer and writes articles for The Student newspaper.
Dimitris Galatis
Dimitris is a 2nd-year Biological Sciences student at the University of Edinburgh majoring in Biochemistry. Born in Greece, Dimitris has attended the UK-based curriculum as well as the Hellenic one, and he managed to excel both in his A’ Level and home-country exams. Dimitris has offered Biology and Chemistry lessons to a few students so far, while he also used to love helping classmates at school with Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. His expertise in Biochemistry in conjunction with his passion for tutoring enables him to impart knowledge to his students in an interesting and efficient way.
Dimitris has worked as an intern in the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens, where he gained extensive Laboratory experience. He is also the president of the Edinburgh Immunology Society in the Edinburgh University Students’ Association. On top of that, it is worth mentioning that Dimitris has been recognised by the Pan-Hellenic Association of Bioscientists and the Hellenic Ministry of Education for his distinction in the National Biology Competition (10th position Award).

Amna Pottarath
Amna is an MSc Literature and Modernity student at the University of Edinburgh. She loves everything about English Language and Literature and has worked as an English tutor for second-language users. She was the school topper in Biology and her interests also include media, political science and poetry. Outside of academics, she loves to travel and write about her voyages. Dale Mullin
Dale is a 2nd year psychology student at the University of Queensland, Australia, currently undertaking his second Bachelor of Science. His cumulative six years spent in academia, alongside two published scientific journal articles, have provided him the experience needed to perfect techniques in effective and efficient learning, information retention, and critical thinking. Grace Kielstra
Grace is currently in her first year studying Anthropology and Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh. She has been tutoring both in person and online for almost five years with experience in Maths and the Sciences. Ava Barnaby
I am a second year English Literature student at the University of Edinburgh. As an Edinburgh native, I am familiar with the SQA exam system and received awards for my academic achievements throughout school. I am eager to help others and understand the importance of a good education in improving self-confidence. My friends often turn to me for advice with academic writing, and during high school I completed a paired reading programme which helped younger pupils improve their literacy skills and fluency. I write articles for several literary collaborations online, covering a wide range of topics from pop culture to social issues. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, going to the gym and the university gymnastics club, and writing in cafes.

Carlo is a final year PhD candidate in Art History (The University of Edinburgh). I have studied in Italy and in Continental Europe. Since 2019, I have been tutoring Prehonours students (Medieval and Early Modern Art) at the University of Edinburgh. Niki Saberi Oskoui
Niki is a recent LLB Law Graduate from Durham University, currently based in Edinburgh. Rebecca Beard
I am currently in my fourth year studying Arabic and French at the University of Edinburgh. I have spent significant time living abroad which has equipped me with strong communication skills. I have a passion for all things written (in any language!) and hope to impart that enthusiasm to my students as well as helping them achieve their ambitions - learning should be fun! Outside of academic tutoring, I teach tennis, enjoy spending time outdoors and playing the piano.
Phoebe Hunter-Gordon
Phoebe is a fourth-year chemistry student at the University of Edinburgh who is passionate about synthesising organic products when in the laboratory and working out point groups of compounds when not. She is dedicated to exploring how theories and practice of chemistry correlate into the real world. Aside from chemistry, her other passion was fine art, which she studied for a year at central St. Martins. Whilst at school she tutored fellow students in the year below in maths, so they could achieve their GCSE, where she realised how tutoring could benefit each student individually. She is on the committee for the chemistry academic families which is a peer support group within the school of chemistry. Outside of academia, Phoebe likes hill walking, painting and reeling. Diana M. Domingues
Diana is currently in her 4th year of Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. She loved the sciences throughout her time at school, though English Literature and Psychology were also key favourites! Being Portuguese, and raised in France and the Middle East, Diana has a passion for languages. Fluent in English, French and Portuguese, and conversational in Spanish and Swedish, she is currently working on learning her 6th and 7th languages, Italian and Japanese. She enjoys studying together with fellow students in the same year group, tutoring younger years, and also has experience teaching her native language to new speakers. Outside of academics, she loves hiking and volleyball, playing on the university team, the beach, and the meadows – whenever she gets the chance.
